Tragic Rescue
A MAN died from a heart attack yesterday as he attempted to rescue his young son from drowning.

David Jelish, 40, of Gravesend jumped into Ehrlich’s Pond in a desperate attempt to stop his son Cameron from drowning. Despite attempts at resuscitation by onlookers and paramedics, Mr. Jelish passed away whilst travelling to hospital.

Mr. Jelish’s son and daughter, Naomi - who was also present, escaped without harm and are now being comforted by their mother.
